The Architecture Company was founded in 1981 by Richard Fe Tom. We have provided planning and architectural services for the southwest for over 30 years. Our office is the remodeled historic 1920’s adobe clubhouse in the original dude ranch located at the Silverbell Guest Ranch, where stars, such as Gene Autry, Lee Marvin and John Wayne stayed during their filming at nearby Old Tucson Studios.
Our current staff of 10 includes six (6) registered architects. We are a certified Woman Owned Minority Business Enterprise whose principals are Kegan Tom, AIA, and Richard Fe Tom, AIA. Richard was the original founder of the firm and daughter Kegan is a second generation architect. The firm has always utilized leading edge techology and continues this advantage with 3-D Building Information Modeling (BIM) in design and documentation.
While we embrace technology, we also embrace improving our community’s social, economic and environmental issues through design. We believe it is critical to preserve our heritage and our future. Our role as designers and architects is to facilitate the capture of the Vitality, Cultural Identity and Spirit of the people.
Our diverse portfolio of projects includes commercial and hospitality, municipal and government, industrial, educational, historic, cultural and multi-family housing facilities. Services include master planning, site analysis, feasibility studies, due diligence and historic surveys.
